Following on from Phase 1 of the new Amazon Building fit out in Cork Airport Business Park, Hunt Office Interiors was again awarded the tender for the fit out of Phase 2: first floor and reception areas of building 3100 to seat a further 127 people with cafe facilities, 2 training rooms, meeting areas, break out areas and Hr offices. In addition to this, Hunt Office Interiors were also requested to refurbish the entire WC / Toilet areas on both floors and build a picnic area and common pathways between 3 Amazon’s buildings in Cork Airport Business Park. Again, we worked very closely with Amazon’s project teams in both Ireland and Seattle to deliver the corporate standards that Amazon required. Phase 2 scope was to strip out the complete first floor and reception and common areas and re fit as per the architects and project team’s specifications. The project included the build of glazed partitions and stud walls, new suspended ceilings and raised access floors, new ducting and AC indoor and outdoor units. The installation of new electrical wiring and data cables with updated security and access control systems. All new office Furniture including Call Centre Desks, Desk Dividers and Task Chairs. Additional office space was required, IT Store Rooms, Training and Meeting Rooms. Flooring, painting and finishing touches were carried out across the entire building. A New Reception Area was also commissioned as part of this extensive fit out project.
