Working closely with the client
This was a substantial and challenging project which involved the complete strip out of the existing ground floor offices, meeting room, toilets & canteen and the 1st-floor offices. The Hunt Office team worked closely with the client from the outset to work through ideas, colour schemes & visualisations for each area. The main brief was to provide a larger modern open plan office for 18 people on the first floor with 3 new managers offices and a break out meeting area.
On the ground floor, we were tasked to design & build a completely new staff canteen with kitchen facilities, a break out meeting bench with AV and a soft seating area. We also had to strip and remove the existing toilet block and relocate it to a new toilet block. The main challenge was to complete all of the works within a “live” site. All of the office, warehouse & engineering staff had to keep working during the refurbishment works which included the provision for a temporary office, kitchen & toilet block.
