Abbott in Galway serves as the international hub for Abbott’s Rapid Diagnostics business. The spacious Galway based offices had an extensive refresh to create a more comfortable and dynamic workspace for their staff. The fit out project incorporated multiple spaces including a large open plan office, meeting rooms, cellular offices, canteen area and bathroom facilities. Kinvara Wood worked on bespoke features within the project including storage and stunning feature wall which doubles as a room divider and hidden storage. A Hush Meet Pod was also installed which provides an independent and mobile office space for small meetings, provide calls and collaboration work. Working closely with the client
The Client brief was to create a comfortable and functional workspace using a variety of furniture and fittings with a neutral grey palette flowing through the office. Double Glazed Partitioning systems were supplied and fitted by Huntoffice Interiors to create individual and bright cellular offices. All office furniture from Sit|Stand Desks, Bench Desks, Ergonomic Task Seating, Desks Pedestals, Dual Monitor Arms, Storage units, Soft Seating, Mute Meeting pod, Reception Desk, Canteen and Canteen Furniture were supplied and fitted by Huntoffice Interiors. The bespoke or custom build pieces were built from spec by Kinvara Wood. The finished workspace is bright and spacious while upholding practical elements to harness an appealing and functional work environment.
